Vanderlyn Elementary’s 5th grade class overwhelmingly decided, in lieu of an end of year celebration or gift for the school, to donate their collected money to Malachi’s Storehouse. These students felt it important to help those in our community impacted by hunger, particularly now that the number of those with food insecurity has increased due to Covid-19. Congratulations VES Class of 2020 – this giving spirit will take you far!

Guidelines For Distribution
In an effort to keep parents and staff safe during pick-up, the following measures will be implemented:
- All staff and parents will be required to wear a mask and practice social distance.
- The pick-up destination will be the cafeteria. Please follow the signage.
- Only one adult per household should come to the school to pick up the device.
- All parents must complete the Device User Agreement (electronic or hard copy) prior to coming to the school
Each student who requested and is issued a DCSD chrome book MUST complete a "User Agreement". In order to expedite the pick-up process and to minimize contact, we highly encourage you to use the link below to complete the User Agreement online. That information will automatically populate into our database.
If you are unable to complete the User Agreement online, please click on the second link below to print and fill out a hardcopy of the agreement. This will need to be printed and filled out prior to your child's Chromebook being distributed.
Below you will find the link to the Digital Dreamers website which is a comprehensive technology program of the DeKalb County School District. This link contains a plethora of helpful information regarding Chromebooks and Chromebook distribution.
Virtual Learning Schedule
