Lunch Bunch is Currently Recruiting Volunteers!

You can sign up weekly, monthly, or whenever it might fit into your schedule! Each shift is just an hour and by volunteering you are giving our awesome teachers a much needed break!

Channel 2's Mark Arum Visits Vanderlyn & Donates to Annual Fund

Mark Arum of WSB-TV Channel 2 visited Vanderlyn on August 2 as part of their Back to School campaign. Mr. Arum brought healthy snacks to share with the entire faculty and staff and toured our school interviewing the teachers and faculty. Mr. Arum graciously donated $250 to our Vanderlyn Annual Fund. Thank you WSB-TV and Mr. Arum!

Congratulations Vanderlyn Vikings! We are AdvancED STEM certified. AdvancED STEM is the first internationally recognized STEM certification. Currently, just 50 schools, internationally and nationally, have been awarded AdvancED STEM Certification.

Vanderlyn is proud to be amongst the first in the Dekalb County School District and the State of Georgia to achieve AdvancED STEM certification! This is an impressive accomplishment that cements Vanderlyn as a formidable, academic powerhouse that is rooted in 21st century best-teaching practices and epitomizes success for all students.
